Novelantastic

Novelantastic is an addon for Godot that designed specifically for making visual novel

Inspired by Ren'py, Novelantastic was made for people that want to make visual novel in Godot to take advantage of Godot's powerful 2D and 3D tools if they want to have more gameplay elements that can be difficult to implement with Ren'py.

Introduction

I made Novelantastic so that I can have a Ren'py-like environment to make visual novel in Godot, my primary engine of choice, without having to switch between engines for visual novel.

Feature

1. Writing dialogues and other commands like change backgrounds, character sprites, play music,... directly in a code editor and the addon will handle the rest.

2. Preview from the start of a script or from a specific line.

3. Easy characters and variables management.

4. Default handling of gameplay, setting, save/load system.
